THE BOOK OF FOX FACTS

A PASSION PROJECT

Having loved Foxes for many years, I always knew I wanted to create something big based around them. It dawned on me that I knew very little about them despite my obsession. After thorough researching, I found tons of interesting information on these creatures that I felt, with foxes being such an icon in pop culture and media, others would want to know as well.

ACCESSIBLE TO ALL AGES

With foxes being admired by all ages, I wanted my book to be understood by all ages too. Once I'd gathered together all of my facts, I looked at breaking them down into their simplest form, and if there was a complicated word, I would try to explain it as easily as possible so that anyone can follow along and may even learn some new terminology for the first time thanks to my book. The benefit of illustration is being able to add visuals to words. So to help make this book more fun while still remaining informative, I made sure there was a good mix of illustration and facts that worked off each other rather than one overpowering the other.

A NEW VIEW ON FOXES

After finishing the book, my goal is to have anyone who reads it learn something new about one of their favourite animals. I also want them to be more aware of how to approach them, what to do when you see one, and how they are not an animal to be scared of. This was my first attempt at an educational non-fiction book and there is even more content just waiting to be added, as I have a list of extra pages that I plan on adding in the near future or if the book goes into publishing.
